Rebels Miss SEC Tournament

Ole Miss won the national championship in 2022, but in 2023 the Rebels are the worst team in the league that failed to qualify for even the league tournament. It’s bad, and I just wanted to make a note of it. I’d noted in a prior post that the Rebels lost Dylan Delucia to the minor leagues and Hunter Elliott to Tommy Johns surgery, and you’re talking about losing two absolutely lights-out college pitchers. The 2023 Rebels were never going to do any post-season damage, but going from absolute best to absolute worst in a single season is remarkable.
